BCN Cleanup 2018

Home » Latest News » BCN Cleanup 2018

Thanks to the big BCN clean up who paid us a visit today and took a load of scrap/rubbish.

Every year the IWA, WRG and BCN society organise workboats and invite volunteers to help them remove rubbish from the canal. We are lucky they decided to do this on the wyrley & Essington canal as they come straight past us. Everyone was invited for a walk around the site and much interest was shown in our piles of bricks. We have lots of bricks, blue bricks, old bricks, new bricks, coping stones! Bill took one that he liked. Hopefully the WRG group who do restoration works can use some of them in future projects.
